Had a great time on Tuesday night celebrating our engaged friends, Ron and Celese. They are both doctors, both from the South (though Celese roots for the right team), and both committed to international medical missions. How cool is that?Thanks to Steve for hosting us at his restaurant, Panino on Central. Definitely good times. Though I'm not sure why my meat needed to be cut into small pieces

In the last year, Kira and I have built a friendship with Tim Johnson and his family. We've particularly got to know his mom, Dee, as well. Dee is an amazing woman. She is a prolific author, playwright, songwriter, musician, poet, and historian. Oh, and a great mom. A few years ago, Tim was in a bad accident and has been severly disabled since. I am amazed how much he can still communicate,

Last Friday, Kira and I met some friends at this cool restaurant downtown and then saw the movie World Trade Center. So, Kira and I went to see one of the bands I've been into lately called West Indian Girl. During the night, there were a number of embarrassing moments.
