Ron Krieger
Ron grew up in Washington, D.C., attended the University of Maryland and played basketball for the Terps. Upon leaving the U of M he worked for a major Washington department store for ten years. It was then that he met Carlyn, his wife and best friend of 46 years. They are the parents of Stacy and Jeff who have given them three beautiful grandchildren.

When Ron retired, he and Carlyn relocated back to the Atlanta area where they had enjoyed living previously. After a few years Roger Goodman, who Ron had worked with at Levi’s, called him with an idea to distribute a higher end pet food line that would be more humane than many of the advertised brands currently on the market. After seeing the consumer acceptance to Blackwood Pet Foods and the amazing change in their pets, Ron and Roger formed the distributorship currently known as R & R Distributors. Now, more than five years later, they enjoy an extremely successful business in the Southeast with Blackwood and Evanger’s pet products… and the most gratifying part of the business is the good that comes from knowing the pets of so many owners are enjoying a healthy lifestyle due to the natural foods they sell.

Roger Goodman
Roger’s inspiration for starting R & R Distributors was his love for dogs and many years of owning and showing them. He is originally from upstate New York. After attending college he worked in retail and wholesale distribution, later moving on to a career within the apparel industry. Just prior to R & R, Roger retired from Levi Strauss where he held positions in sales management in Atlanta, Charlotte and New York City. He and Sally have been married for fifty years. Their two children and four grandchildren live in Dallas. Roger continues to be enthusiastic about the growth of Blackwood and Evanger’s in the Southeast as well as the opportunity to be involved with dogs again.
